I was the Technical Project Lead for a product that began as whiteboard sketches to be ready for mass production in only 10 months. My team completed two major iteration cycles; the design included injection moldable parts, custom PCBs, lighting effects, and integration into a phone app. Through human factors research, I have been awarded multiple patents for mechanisms and user experience.
The controller, FT Aviator, received a 2019 CES Innovation Award, the Digital Trends Emerging Tech Award, and earned notoriety from several news outlets including The Verge, CNBC, and Fast Company, among others.
